# Configuring Blinq for Marketo

> Control how Blinq syncs contacts, tags, and campaigns to Marketo, and how contacts are shared.

## Configuring Blinq

Once connected, you can control how Blinq syncs data to Marketo. Toggle any option on or off at any time from **Settings → Integrations → Marketo**.

| Setting                                  | Behavior                                                                                                                      |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Automatically update contacts in Marketo | When a contact is edited in Blinq, the matching Lead record is updated.                                                       |
| Sync contact tags                        | Contact, workspace, and campaign tags are written to custom fields on the Lead record.                                        |
| Auto export new contacts                 | On: every new Blinq contact is exported automatically. Off: export manually from **All company contacts**.                    |
| Campaign sync                            | Link a Blinq campaign to a Marketo Program. Leads captured during the campaign window are added to the Program automatically. |

### Controlling who can export

Team member exporting is a per-integration setting. When it's turned off, only admins can export contacts to Marketo.

## Sharing contacts to Marketo

Export contacts to Marketo from **Blinq → Contacts → All company contacts**.

Blinq doesn't export your personal contacts to Marketo unless you've shared them with your team. If you haven't shared a contact with your organization yet, you can share it from the **Share** menu on the individual contact record, in the dashboard or Blinq app.
