# Connecting Zapier to Blinq

> Generate your Blinq authentication token and connect the Blinq app in Zapier.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Settings">
    * In the Blinq dashboard, navigate to **Settings** in the left-hand menu.
    * Select the **Integrations** tab.
    * Click **Connect** on the Zapier integration.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate your authentication details">
    * Blinq displays your ID, with the option to generate or regenerate a token.
    * You need both credentials to connect the Blinq app in Zapier.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Blinq in Zapier">
    * Find and add the Blinq app in Zapier by searching for Blinq, or visit our app page directly: [zapier.com/apps/blinq/integrations](https://zapier.com/apps/blinq/integrations).
    * Once the app is installed, press **Add connection**.
    * A pop-up window opens. Authenticate and connect Blinq by pasting the ID and token from the previous step, then press **Connect**.
    * You should see a green circle and **Connected** under **Status** for the Blinq application in Zapier.

  <Step title="Test your connection">
    * You can test this connection at any time from your [Zapier connections](https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections/blinq) by clicking the three dots and selecting **Test connection**.
