# Configuring Blinq for Zoho CRM

> Choose whether contacts land as Leads or Contacts, control when they export, and sync on demand.

Open **Settings → Integrations → Zoho CRM** to control how contacts export. These settings apply to your whole workspace.

## Leads or Contacts

**Export Blinq contacts as** decides which Zoho module receives your records: **Leads** or **Contacts**.

Pick the one that matches how your team works. If people you meet at events are unqualified until someone follows up, Leads keeps them out of your contact database until they're worth having there. If your team treats every capture as a real relationship from the start, Contacts saves a conversion step.

  This applies to your whole workspace — every exported contact goes to the module you choose. Changing it later affects new exports, not records already in Zoho.

## How new contacts sync

| Setting       | Behavior                                                    |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Automatic     | New contacts export to Zoho as they're captured.            |
| Manual review | New contacts are held in Blinq until someone approves them. |

Manual review is worth using while you're getting started, or when your team captures contacts somewhere the quality varies — a busy trade show stand, for example. Nothing reaches Zoho until a person has looked at it.

## Exporting on demand

Select **Sync contacts** in your Zoho settings to push your existing Blinq contacts across without waiting for new captures. Use it after you first connect, so the contacts you already have in Blinq reach Zoho.

## Saving your settings

Select **Save** to apply your changes.

  There's an **Automatically update changes to Blinq contacts** option in this settings panel. It doesn't apply to Zoho — edits made in Blinq after a contact has exported aren't sent across. See the [feature overview](/integrations/zoho) for what does and doesn't sync.
