Prerequisites
- You must be an Admin or Owner in your Blinq workspace to connect Outlook and change its settings.
- You’ll need an account with administrator access to your Microsoft 365 tenant to authorise the connection.
- Each team member’s Blinq profile email must exactly match their Microsoft 365 mailbox address, or their contacts won’t sync.
- You’ll need at least one company contact in your Blinq workspace.
Where contacts land
Contacts sync into the Outlook address book of the person who captured them, not into a shared company-wide list. Someone who captures a contact at an event finds it in their own Outlook contacts; their colleagues don’t.Feature overview
Already-exported contacts are updated, not duplicated. Exporting the same contact again refreshes the existing Outlook record.
Contacts that never export
A contact only exports if it’s a company contact, and it only becomes one if the person who captured it was using a team card. Someone with no card, or using a personal card, has their captures saved as personal contacts — which never reach Outlook, and never produce an error to say so. If a team member’s contacts aren’t arriving, check they have a team card assigned before checking anything else. Outlook can run alongside Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, or any other connected integration. A captured contact exports to every platform you’ve connected.Documentation for our Outlook integration
