Export settings

Turn the options on or off, then select Save.

Exporting on demand

You can export at any time without waiting for new captures:
1

Open your contacts

Go to the Contacts page in the Blinq dashboard.
2

Choose Outlook

Select the Export Contacts dropdown, then To Outlook.
3

Start the export

Select Export contacts.
Contacts that have already been exported are updated rather than duplicated, so it’s safe to run this more than once.

What reaches Outlook

Each exported contact carries across their name, email address, phone number, job title and company, along with any notes recorded in Blinq — including AI Notetaker summaries — and their Blinq tags, which arrive as Outlook categories.
Notes arrive as plain text. Outlook’s notes field doesn’t accept formatting, so anything styled in Blinq is flattened when it exports.

If a team member’s contacts aren’t arriving

Check these in order:
  1. Do they have a team card? Someone with no card, or on a personal card, has their captures saved as personal contacts, which never export and never raise an error.
  2. Does their Blinq profile email match their Microsoft 365 mailbox exactly? Contacts sync into the mailbox of the person who captured them, matched on that address.
  3. Is anyone listed against the contact in the Created by column? Contacts with no creator aren’t exported.
If all three check out, email support@blinq.me with the affected email addresses and roughly when the contacts were captured.
