Blinq syncs contact data to standard fields on the Marketo Lead record. Tags and custom lead form responses map to custom Marketo fields.

Contact field mapping

If the following information is present on the Blinq contact, Blinq syncs it to the corresponding Marketo Lead field. Tags and custom lead form responses map to custom Marketo fields through the field mapper. To customize which fields Blinq syncs and how they map, see Blinq field mapping.

Custom fields

When tag sync is enabled, Blinq writes contact tags, workspace tags, and campaign tags to custom fields on the Lead record. Campaign membership is handled separately: a Blinq campaign links to a Marketo Program, and leads captured during the campaign window are added to that Program.

Deduplication

Contact deduplication is always on. When an exported contact matches an existing Lead, matched on exact email address, Blinq updates that record rather than creating a duplicate. A contact without an email address won’t export. Your Marketo instance has the final say on every export. Duplicate rules, required fields, and validation configured in Marketo can change how a record is matched or block an export entirely.
